Our volunteer drivers and passenger assistants are an enthusiastic, friendly team who help people to get to the shops, go to activity classes, visit friends, get to the hairdressers and more. We operate in the daytime Monday - Friday, typically 9.00am - 3.45pm and within a 10 mile radius of Shrewsbury centre. It is a pre-booked service.
If you struggle to walk to the bus stop or need assistance to travel then we may well be able to help. Our door to door service picks you up from home and drops you where you need to be! Contact us

How much does it cost?
For individuals
Shrewsbury Dial-a-Ride operates as a membership service. It costs £20 per year to join. Once you are a member, each trip costs £3.00 (with a bus pass) or £4.50 (without a bus pass). A trip is one-way, so a return would be £6.00 (with a bus pass) or £9.00 (without a bus pass)
For groups
We also do group membership, so if you are part of a club or society and would find it useful to hire a bus for outings, then you can join as a group. Group membership is £30 per year and then each trip is calculated at a rate per mile. Please contact us for more information about our community based transport.
